Plain terms for playing Akam Puzzle, sharing puzzles, and using the downloadable widget. Last updated: 4 August 2026.
The puzzle-making technology, designs and know-how are owned by Akam Puzzle — all rights reserved. You may play, create and share puzzles as the app and widgets allow; you may not extract, copy or re-sell the underlying technology, or present it as your own product.
Any image used in a puzzle was supplied by the person who created that puzzle. It belongs to them, and they alone are responsible for its content and for having the right to use and share it. Akam Puzzle does not receive, own or store the images used in puzzles. By creating, sharing, or playing a puzzle you accept these terms.
A shared puzzle is a self-contained file, sent directly from the sender's device. Once delivered it is the recipient's copy; it plays offline and is outside our systems and control. Every exported puzzle carries a visible "Made with Akam Puzzle" mark.
The downloadable Akam Puzzle game is sold through itch.io, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, delivery and refunds under its own terms. Your licence is for personal, private use: you may keep the file and play it on your own devices. It does not permit use by a company, organisation or school, use in or alongside commercial activity, resale or redistribution in any form, or modifying and reverse-engineering the file. Business, educational and distribution licences are available — contact info@akampuzzle.com.
You may embed a widget you made — free or paid — on your own website for personal or own-business use. The built-in "Made with Akam Puzzle" mark is part of the file and must remain visible; it is not removable, so embedding as-is always satisfies this. Akam Puzzle, its widgets and shared files are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the service or a purchased widget is limited to the amount you paid for it.
